Vector Laboratories Wheat Germ Agglutinin (WGA) Fluorescein-labeled 5 mg
Wheat germ agglutinin (WGA) contains a group of closely related isolectins that bind N-acetylglucosamine (preferentially the dimers and trimers of this sugar) and oligosaccharides containing terminal N-acetylglucosamine or chitobiose, structures common to many serum and membrane glycoproteins. Bacterial cell wall peptidoglycans, chitin, cartilage glycosaminoglycans, and glycolipids can also bind WGA. Native WGA also interacts with some glycoproteins via sialic acid residues (see succinylated WGA). This fluorescein-labeled WGA features a ratio of fluorophores to lectin protein that provides optimal staining (excitation 495 nm, emission 515 nm). Supplied as a solution essentially free of unconjugated fluorophores, it is preserved with sodium azide. The recommended inhibiting/eluting sugar is chitin hydrolysate or 500 mM N-acetylglucosamine with salt and/or acid elution.

Biotium LysoView™ 633, 100uL
LysoView™ dyes are fluorescent stains for imaging lysosome localization and morphology in live cells. The dyes accumulate in the low pH environment of the lysosomes, resulting in highly specific lysosomal staining without the need for a wash step. Far-red fluorescent LysoView™ 633 exhibits pH-sensitive fluorescence (Ex/Em 634/659 nm at pH ≤5), further enhancing the specificity of staining.
Biotium MemBrite™ Fix 488/515 Cell Surface Staining Kit, 100 Reactions
MemBrite™ Fix Cell Surface Staining Kits are designed for covalently staining the surface of live cells to conveniently visualize cell boundaries in immunofluorescence experiments. MemBrite™ Fix are new covalent cell surface stains that react irreversibly with cell surface proteins for staining that can withstand formaldehyde or alcohol fixation, and detergent permeabilization. Unlike lectins such as WGA, which bind specific targets that may vary between cell types, MemBrite™ Fix dyes react widely with cell surface proteins. MemBrite™ Fix staining is rapid and non-toxic to cells, and because MemBrite™ Fix dyes are highly water soluble, they stain cells much more evenly than traditional lipophilic membrane dyes like DiO, DiI, PKH, Vybrant, or CellMask™. This trial size kit has reagents sufficient for 100 labeling reactions. The kit contains 1 vial of MemBrite™ Fix 488/515 that is sufficient for 20 uL of 1000X dye after DMSO reconstitution.
Biotium ViaFluor 405 Live Cell Microtubule Stain, Trial Size
ViaFluor™ 405 is a blue fluorescent taxol probe with excitation/emission at 408/452 nm that allows fluorescent staining of microtubules in living cells for detection in the DAPI channel. Supplied at 1000X in DMSO, with a vial of 100 mM verapamil, which can enhance staining in some cell types.

LysoView™ 405 is a blue fluorescent lysosome stain for live cells. It has excitation at 318 and 400 nm and emission at 464 nm, for detection in the DAPI or Pacific Blue channels.
Biotium Tyramide Amplification Kit with HRP Streptavidin and CF640R Tyramide
Tyramide amplification, sometimes called Catalyzed Reporter Deposition (CARD), is an enzyme-mediated detection method that uses the catalytic activity of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) to generate high density labeling of a target protein or nucleic acid sequence in situ. The tyramide amplification method has been reported to increase the sensitivity by up to 100-fold compared to the conventional avidin-biotinylated complex procedure. The kit contains HRP streptavidin CF640R dye tyramide. The dye has an excitation/emission of 642/662 nm. The kit contains sufficient reagent for 50-150 slides.

LysoView™ 540 is a red fluorescent dye that is highly selective for labeling and tracking of lysosomes in live cells, with no wash step required. With absorption and emission at 540/634 nm, the dye can be detected using a Cy3 filter set.

Biotium CF488A Maleimide
CF Dye Maleimides are thiol-reactive fluorescent dyes. Maleimides are commonly used to label proteins on free thiol groups. CF dyes are Biotium's line of next-generation fluorescent dyes with advantages in brightness, photostability, and conjugate specificity compared to other fluorescent dyes. Green fluorescent CF488A dye has excitation/emission at 490/515 nm.
Biotium Cyanine 555 Tyramide
Cyanine 555 tyramide (Ex/Em 555/565 nm) can be used for tyramide signal amplification (TSA), which is an enzyme-mediated detection method that uses horseradish peroxidase (HRP) to generate high-density labeling of a target protein or nucleic acid in situ. Cyanine 555 is structurally identical to Cy3 from GE Healthcare.
